Exciting Epworth News

Our Haas Buddies are coming for a visit!  Please mark your calendar fro Sunday, March 12th.  Our Epworth friends will worship with us in the 11:00 service, and then we will treat them to a much anticipated covered dish lunch.  (The boys think we have the BEST COOKS EVER, so let’s not disappoint them!!)

Following a time of fellowship and food, the guys will play a friendly game of basketball with a group from our won church basketball league.

Let’s give these deserving young men and their counselors a big FUMC welcome!!  Our Haas Buddies will feel your love for them, and in return, you will also receive an immeasurable blessing.

world-day-of-prayer-cover-228x300

World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women of many faith traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday in March.  Each year a different country serves as the writer of the World Day of Prayer worship service.  The 2017 World Day of Prayer service will begin at the first sunrise on March 3, 2017, in the Pacific region and, following the Earth’s orbit, will spread around the world.

In Bennettsville, there will be a World Day of Prayer service at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 306 Fayetteville Avenue, at 10:00 am on March 3, 2017.
