FUMC Children’s Center News

FUMC Children's center

The kids (and adults) of the FUMC Children’s Center continue to stay very busy.  Everyone is very excited that spring is here, and time can be spent outside.

We were so excited to come in last Monday morning to find that someone left a big box of cups for us!  Donations of items such as cups, paper towels, paper plates, and snacks are greatly appreciated and help us provide for the children.  Many thanks to those of you who continuously support our center.

We continue to register children for our 4K program.  Children must be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2017, to enroll.  Copies of application packets can be picked up at any time from the FUMC Children’s Center.

Blessings,

Debbie Polston, FUMC Children’s Center Director

GLORY TO GOD!

FUMC burning of mortgage

As you know, FUMC initiated a mortgage for $1,200,000 in June of 2005 to renovate the Church and Sunday School Building.  After 12 long years of faithful giving and stewardship by our congregation, we paid off the bank note, and on April 2, 2017, during the 11:00 AM communion and worship service, we burned the mortgage.
